About Me

I am an avid reader, a music-maker, and a life-long resident of the Pacific Northwest. A recovering perfectionist, I discovered therapy and Brené Brown in the same year and never looked back. I am still engaged in my own work in therapy as a client, and believe you deserve to do this work with someone who is not watching from a distance, but rather, someone intimately familiar with the wonder and terror of awakening to our own selves.

I earned a Master of Arts in Couple & Family Therapy from Seattle University, which is nationally accredited. Previously, I earned a Bachelor of Arts with dual majors in Music and Communication.

I am a fully licensed therapist in the state of Washington (LF61293095) and hold professional memberships in the Northwest Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study and the American Association for Marriage & Family Therapists. As part of my personal and professional commitment to growth, I engage in regular clinical consultation and advanced training for psychotherapists. As an associate therapist, I was privileged to learn under the supervision of Susan Nelson, LMHC, and Tracy Hahn, LMFT.

It’s an honor to be considered as your companion and collaborator for this work.

What is the name for the place where you are now? It requires close looking. It requires the dedication of observation and a commitment to truth. To name a place requires us to be in a place. It requires us to resist dreaming of where we should be, and look around where we are. Hello to here.
