Welcome. I’m so glad you found your way here.

For me, in the end as well as from the very beginning, therapy is about hope: for meaning, for authenticity, for connection.  We hope, too, for progress and transformation, for a sense of awakening to our own lives and selves, for restoration of broken bonds.  It is my belief that this seed of hope is buried within all of us; the work of therapy is, above all, to nourish that seed into something that blossoms and grows.

I approach each person or couple with whom I am privileged to work from a place of curiosity and wonder: Who are you?  What forces and relationships have shaped you?  What drives you?  What is it you long for?  As we begin to explore the landscape of your inner world, I believe we are also learning how to recognize, and eventually, welcome aspects of our selves that have been relegated to the shadows. Often, we carry wounds and messages that imply certain parts of us are must be hidden or cut-off in order to be welcomed or loved.  Our fears of being unwanted, unseen, or unwelcome may ripple out in ways that cause us to feel disconnected and distressed, from ourselves and from our most important relationships. Healing, then, is about reuniting what has been torn apart and separated: within ourselves, and with the other.

This is creative and collaborative work that can supports you in knowing yourself more deeply and imagining new possibilities for yourself and for your relationships.
